A throwback to the gangsta rap music -and culture- we grew up idolizing.
This regular fit white t-shirt has Deadend emblazoned on it in red. You may recognize the font from Nineties gangsta rap albums and tattoos, but interestingly the Old English font really has no ties to gang culture except sheer happenstance.
The word "gang" however does come the old English word gan, which means "to go". Which makes us more Grammar Nerd than Gangtsa, and we're perfectly okay with that.
Deadend recommends: Nothin' but a "G" thang (1992) by Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg.
Look, gangster culture was a fertile subject to mine for many rappers in the Nineties. But this song is iconic for more reasons than just the gnarly beat. Nothin' but a "G" thang was the first collaboration between Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, a partnership that kicked off one of the most glorious periods of rap music and gifted us bop after bop in the Nineties.
The best part? Dr. Dre says that he first heard snoop rapping from a mixed tape given to him by Warren G. Dre immediately knew he wanted Snoop to feature on his upcoming album "The Chronic", and asked him to contribute vocals to Nothin' but a "G" thang. Except our man Snoop was in prison at the time. But gangsters don't let a little thing like jail come between them and recording music. So Snoop Dogg would call Dr. Dre on the phone from prison and rap into it, which Dre recorded and added to the track. You can actually hear jail sounds in the background in the opening bars where Snoop raps, “1, 2, 3 and to the 4…”
Now if that's not utterly, butterly gangster, we don't know what is.

The first thing you need to know about our shipping is that we don’t actually send the clothes to you on a ship. That would just be impractical, especially since you probably don’t live on an island and we don’t know anybody who owns a ship.
